I can’t believe that we’re only a month away from launch date!
It has literally been years in the making, so to say that I’m super-excited about the release of my first book would be a HUGE understatement. Creating the story has been a labor of love – so much so, that I already have the entire series mapped out, along with several other stories surrounding satellite characters that I love.
But it’s also been REALLY stressful as I get closer and closer to the deadline that I’ve set for myself.
There are so many decisions to make. From book cover design and Amazon author page, to distribution options and a self-marketing plan, it has been a little overwhelming from time to time. Even something so seemingly insignificant as the title font created hours of research to make sure that it was just right.
And doing it all while continuing to work a full-time, 40 hour per week job has been CRAZY — but you’ve got to pay the bills, right?
So, we’re just about a month out from launch date and I’m not getting a lot of sleep, but I know it’s all going to be worth it.
